Quality of life of caregiver in process of providing care of dying relative

Aim: Families who are confronted by the presence of stressors in terms of their risk present management group. One of the stressors that can affect the direction of family functioning is a diagnosis of serious illness of a family member and subsequent care in the home and hospital environment. The aim of this study is assessment of the quality of life for caregivers in providing care for a dying relative at home, at the palliative ward and for caregivers, who provided combined care.
Method: As a method for empirical data used instruments Caregiver Quality of Life Index Cancer. Research sample consisted of 263 caregivers who provide combined care, home care and palliative care units.
Results: Following analyses receives entry authors found out, significant statistical differences of the age, of the relationship between caregiver and dying, of the form, and length of providing care of the caregiver, in burden and in all domains of quality of life. (p =
